Club Championships 2009/2010
The rules this year are that your best scores from four events from each list (see below) i.e. four under ten miles and four ten miles or over only will count. So if you miss a race is does not matter you will still be in a chance of competing for the title. Scoring is on a first past the post system (not age graded this year). There is though a twist. The points scored will depend on how many LRR members take part in each race.
Example
If there 10 of us running the first person home will get ten points, 2nd nine etc.. Points scored regardless of gender. So if third person home was a lady she would score 8 points, in this example, and the next person home, say a gent, would score 7 points. If the next person in was a lady she would score six points.... and so on......... PHEW!!!
So the more LRR members that run a nominated championship race the more points you are likely to score.
