WELCOME TO BRITAIN'S MOST EASTERLY RUNNING CLUB
Our club was originally formed in the 1960's and was known as Lowestoft A.C. for over 25 years. Lowestoft Road Runners was formed in 1996 in order to retain Lowestoft A.C. colours when the original club combined with Beccles Running Club to form Waveney Valley A.C.In 2010 Lowestoft Road Runners was invited to become a 'Virgin London Marathon Running Club Partner'. The aim of the club is to promote road and cross country running.
We pride ourselves on being a friendly club, with around 100 members and welcome runners both male and female from 18 years old and of all abilities from beginners to the fastest in the county.
For those who are a little more competitive we encourage our runners to represent the club in local races, relay events and Suffolk championships. Our LiRF coaches are available for beginners to marathon training.
We welcome anybody who is keen to run so why not give us a try!
