2016/17 Suffolk Winter Cross Country League - Final Report...
On 26th March fourteen members of Lowestoft Road Runners made the long trek to the final fixture of the Suffolk winter cross country league of the season, the first time at this location. The course was approximately 5 miles long.
First home, in 6th was Carl Prewer with a time of 31:42. Full results were Paul Lyon in 19th 34:25, Tom Galley 25th 35:55, Leigh Butcher 40th 36:25, John Jervis 42nd 36:34, Tom Spalding 61st 37:57, Tracy Prewer 88th (12th lady) 40:20, Shaun Kay 90th 40:32, Ian Marshall 104th 41:57, Ian Chilley 120th 43:37, Shaun Crowley 139th 45:36, Natasha Korovilas 145th (31st lady) 46:17, Steph Strowger 171st (43rd lady) 48:37 and Debra Kay 179th (46th lady) 50:02.
Carl Prewer finished the season winning his age group with wife Tracy coming second in hers. Also winning his age group was Robert Cheverton.
In the combined team results Lowestoft A team were 4th and the B and C teams coming 5th in their respective results.
