Leigh Butcher, Club Chairman, said “What an absolutely amazing day had by all at the Bungay Running festival. To be able to run one race and watch two was brilliant. I am very proud to see so many blue and yellow vests, particularly on the new members of the club. Watching those new runners achieve their personal goals and the more experienced runners bring home trophies is what it’s all about. My proudest moments have to go to Regina Warford for completing her first ever marathon, just over 12 months after joining the club and seeing Paul Lyon win his first road race. We also had great results and PB’s coming in from Diss, Kent and Milan, where some of our other members were competing. ”
